4. Book Condition Expectations

Books should:

• Match the conditions described in requirements

Normal signs of reading and wear are expected and accepted.

We reserve the right to limit or prohibit certain materials from being exchanged through the platform.

5. Shipping & Exchanges

Members are responsible for:

• Packaging books securely

• Providing accurate shipping information to USPS/UPS

• Sending books within the required timeframe

• Following any exchange guidelines provided by the Company

Considered Reads Society is not responsible for:

• Postal delays

• Lost or stolen packages

• Damage caused during shipping

• Incorrect addresses submitted by users

• Disputes between members

We may, at our discretion, assist with dispute resolution but are not obligated to do so.

6. Memberships & Payments

Certain features or offerings may require payment, subscription fees, or membership enrollment.

By purchasing a membership or paid service, you agree that:

• Payment information provided is accurate

• Fees may be charged on a recurring basis if disclosed at checkout

• Memberships may renew automatically unless canceled before renewal

• Fees are generally non-refundable unless required by law or otherwise stated

By posting User Content, you:

• Confirm that you own or have permission to share the content

• Grant A Considered Exchange a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and promote the content in connection with the Services

• Agree not to post unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or harmful material

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or the spirit of the community.

9. Intellectual Property

All branding, logos, designs, graphics, website content, and original materials associated with Considered Reads Society are owned by the Company or licensed appropriately.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit our content without prior written permission.

10. Events & Partnerships

From time to time, A Considered Exchange may host events, pop-ups, book clubs, bookstore collaborations, or other community experiences.

Participation in these events is voluntary and at your own risk.

We are not responsible for:

• Lost belongings

• Third-party conduct

• Venue-related issues

• Cancellations outside our control

11. Account Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts at our discretion, including for:

• Fraudulent activity

• Repeated shipping failures

• Abuse toward other members

• Conduct that harms the community or business

You may also stop using the Services at any time.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

We do not guarantee:

• Continuous or uninterrupted access

• That exchanges will always be successful

• That all users will act appropriately

• That recommendations or curated selections will meet expectations

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Considered Reads Society and its owners, employees, partners, or affiliates will not be liable for:
